This is a monthly activity holding at DongShan Elementary School in Taichung, Taiwan, helping children in the community to learn English and to be involved in English conversations.

The activity begins in the early autumn on a Thursday morning. After weeks of preparation, the crew is really to give the students a rocking experience. Five goalkeepers (Candy Man, Chocolate Girl, Jelly Man, Cookie Girl and Hotdog Man) have also been fully trained and will make sure that no one can past without having fun and shouting loud in English. As the activity moves on, innocent younger students was heart melting and win the first prize. Momentarily, students in grade 6 also win the prize with their outstanding English ability.

“Our kids need more chances that lead them into daily English conversations” said the principle. Teachers and staffs in the school have been devoting to making the school a much friendlier place than ever for language learning. “Ultimately, this is not just for the students, but for everyone in the community” the supervisor concludes.

The event finally ends when the last group got a touchdown and everyone is fulfilled with snacks, looking forward to the next event.
