〖從種植高麗菜苗的農作過程，培育珍惜食物的美好心意。〗

英文部二年級自然課程單元內容，介紹了多種有益與有害的植物。為了讓課程更貼近生活，自然老師帶著學生到校園裡的花圃和附近的農場觀察種植的植物，並設計專題課程讓學生能親自動手栽種蔬菜。孩子們將會用一個學期的時間，細心澆灌、觀察與照顧自己的植物，直到蔬菜收成。

來到蒝之味農場，孩子們仔細聆聽農場主人李叔叔以及外師的說明，小心翼翼的種下高麗菜苗、澆灌菜苗、濕潤土壤，滿心期待小菜苗快快長成高麗菜！

實際親身體驗種植過程，讓學生了解耕作的勞力與辛苦，進而培養珍惜食物的觀念。

★Roots and Shoots Projects: ESL 2 Science Project (Cabbage)

This project is focused on teaching students everything about cabbage. In this project, students will go to the farm and learn about land preparation for planting cabbage, how to plant cabbage seeds, transplant seedlings to the main field and water the newly transplanted seedlings, harvesting, storage and finally consumption or marketing.

By growing their own food, students will experience the hard work of farming and learn to treasure the food given to them. They will continue to take care of their own cabbages until harvest while learning about the life cycle of plants.
